MoonUnity opens its founding campaign in October 2026. It is not a pre-order and it is not a product launch: it is the start-up capital that lets a twenty-five-year body of work become an institution.

What the money does
- Legal set-up and administration

What we commit to
- Every euro is accounted for publicly: what came in, what it was spent on.
- Donations are processed through the host foundation, in a separate account for MoonUnity only.
- 10% covers the foundation's administration and the issuing of certificates. 90% goes to the programme.

Tax
Spain's 2024 patronage reform: individuals deduct 45% of a donation (80% on the first €250) and companies 40%, rising to 50% for repeat donors. The reform also allows symbolic rewards worth up to 15% of the donation without losing the deduction — which is exactly what makes a patron circle with perks legal.
Tax deductibility applies from the moment the mecenazgo agreement with the host foundation is signed — which happens before the campaign opens, and the foundation will be named here then. Deductible amounts depend on your own tax situation.

Straight answers
Is MoonUnity the same thing as MoonJune Records?
No. MoonJune Records is the label and stays a normal business. MoonUnity is the non-profit side — education, archive, commissions and patronage. They share a founder and an ecosystem, not a bank account.
Why not simply create a new foundation?
A new foundation needs around €30,000 of endowment and months of paperwork, and a plain cultural association cannot give donors a deduction for two to three years. Hosting the programme inside an existing Law 49/2002 foundation gives MoonUnity that from day one, at almost no start-up cost.
Where does my donation actually go?
Into a ring-fenced account that can only be spent on MoonUnity. 10% covers the host foundation's administration and the issuing of your certificate; 90% funds the programme.
Can I get a tax deduction?
Yes, once the mecenazgo agreement is signed — which happens before the campaign opens. The foundation issues the certificate; individuals in Spain deduct 45% and companies 40%.
